Timothy Bland Sentenced to two Consecutive Natural Life Terms for 2008 Double Homicide
September 02, 2010 - Timothy Keith Bland (DOB: 4/21/1985) has been sentenced to two consecutive natural life sentences followed by a 7.5 year sentence for the 2008 murder of two members of his former girlfriend's family.


Maricopa County Attorney's Office to Host Shred-A-Thons and Prevent Identity Theft
August 31, 2010 - The Maricopa County Attorney's Office is partnering with the Shred-it company to sponsor a series of community Shred-A-Thons in September as part of its ongoing commitment to combat identity theft.

Cold Case Homicide Arrest Comes 29 Years after Murder of 92-year-old Martha Winters in 1981
August 23, 2010 - On August 17, 2010, Gary Billy Bivens (DOB 11/21/57) was arrested for his involvement in the 1981 homicide of 93-year-old Martha Winters and the aggravated assault of her sister, 92-year-old Jesse Winters.


East Valley Man Charged with Molestation of a Child
August 20, 2010 - Albert Richard Guzman (DOB 12/11/46) has been charged with one count of molestation of a child a class 2 felony and one count of public sexual indecency a class 1 misdemeanor.


Edward Rose Enters Guilty Plea in Connection with 2007 Murder of PPD Officer George Cortez, Jr.
August 20, 2010 - Edward James Rose (DOB 6/5/87) pleaded guilty today to first-degree murder as well as charges of burglary, conspiracy, fraud, forgery, and theft, all in connection with the 2007 murder of Phoenix Police Officer George Cortez, Jr.
